The traditional Japanese Nata Machete is a kind of hatchet used for all aspects of gardening and forestry whether it's chopping kindling, cutting and pruning, splitting small logs or even debarking. The Barebones Japanee Nata Machete was inspired by that traditional tool and its construction methods, but it's built with a modern steel core and stainless blade that extends the length of the tool for increased stability and greater swinging weight while still keeping it trim and light. This one even includes a 900D polyester sheathe for protection and easy carrying.
