Higonokami Mini Knife

The higonokami knife was originally made in Japan starting in the late 1800s and is characterized by its lack of a locking mechanism and simple, protruding tang. The style was exceedingly popular in Japan until 1961 when blades were banned. Still, a few craftsmen carry on the tradition today. This mini version is ideal for tossing on your keychain or on a necklace or lanyard. The small, handmade blade will always be at your side and ready for the task at hand. Each is hand-forged just like samurai knives used to be. Don’t let its dimensions fool you, this is an extremely sharp and durable knife.
