If you're anything like us, you believe that you can put almost anything in a bourbon barrel to make it better. While bourbon is certainly our favorite thing to come out of one of those barrels, this Bourbon Smoked Pepper is pretty high up on the list, too. It starts as quarter cracked Malabar pepper that is then slow-smoked using barrel staves from some of Kentucky's finest bourbon. The final product is a high-quality pepper that you can use on all your favorites, except this particular pepper is a smokier, more aromatic version of what you're used to.
