There are a lot of soy sauces out there. None of them are like Imperial Double Fermented Soy Sauce. The recipe for perfect in this case starts with the incredibly popular Bluegrass Soy Sauce that's already microbrewed in small batches then fermented and aged in re-purposed bourbon barrels. That sauce brine is then combined with additional non-GMO soybeans and soft red winter wheat before being aged a second time in bourbon barrels for six more months. This full-bodied and thick sauce has all the earthy flavors you'd expect from a twice aged soy, and it works great for broth, noodles or sushi.
