The Higonokami knife was originally crafted in Japan in the late 1800s and is characterized by its lack of a locking mechanism and simple, protruding tang. The style was exceedingly popular in Japan until 1961 when blades were banned. Still, a few craftsmen carry on the tradition of making the Higonokami knife today. This version comes with a silver finished brass handle that looks slightly worn and battle-tested and a white steel blade.

  • 3 ⅞” closed
  • 2 ⅞” white steel blade
  • Tang lever opening system
  • Silver finished brass handle
